DayZ Singleplayer 1.7.2.6

Hi guys, attached are the two files you need to play DayZ in singleplayer mode; great for when you just want to kill zombies/practice UH-1H backflips/whatever. Simply place the "DayZ_SP.Chernarus.pbo" file in your '\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Missions' folder, and the "dayz_code.pbo" file in your '\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ\Addons' folder.

Start DayZ as normal, then go to Singleplayer -> Scenarios -> DayZ SP. There's a small cheat menu available to you, press '0' twice to view, then press the number corresponding to the cheat you wish to use. Note that a few of the weapons in the Ammo Crate will replace your backpack, this is a problem with the script I used for that cheat, not sure how to fix it. It can be avoided by spawning that particular gun manually instead of taking it from the box.

There are a few bugs, some of them are Rocket's, others aren't, both of which are beyond my meager modding abilities lol :P

If you keep spawning in the debug plains, either fly out or try deleting your save file for the mission and then restarting the mission. Said file is usually in "Documents\ArmA 2\Saved\missions\"

Aw, sh•t. Got an error: "You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependet on downloadable content that has been deleted.dayz_code, dayz_weapons, dayz_equip, dayz_vehicles." When I start DayZ normal, it won't allow me to click on singleplayer, only when I start Arma II Combined Operation. Any idea how to fix this?

I've got DayZ v1.7.2.6 installed and working. I am launcher DayZ with Six Launcher, I am going to try DayZ Commander

Just install it as a new instance, that way there is no faffing about.



Just make a new desktop short-cut ("-mod=@dayzsp") and your done.

For some reason i cant find any item drops but other than that its great

I can't get an option to play single player at all still...
