So right now I just bought Windows 8, but with 120 GB of hard drive space. I'm thinking of getting an SSD, but I'm not sure. People say it's way faster, but what's so special about it? What's the difference between HDD and SSD?

SSD is way faster than HDD, I can't even think about going back to HDD. I literally load everything within half a second and boot my PC in about 5 seconds. I used to boot in like a minute and a half.
Yes it's faster, but it's expensive bullshit
If you want to check the difference
With the price difference, but this difference is of course going back to quality

SSD is gonna cost you $ out the ass but it's definitely much faster.

Which drive would you store your stuff on? HDD or SSD if you have both?
A friend of mine got an SSD and HDD. Runs fucking sexy, go for that /
are using multiple operating systems of course, is the problem but the suggestion is to use a single system ssd 4ever
If you are using it for windows only then you're boot may not even be faster, if you have a slow bios POST then its still just meh
Difference is the Sold State Drive reads and writes faster. Doesn't make a difference in gaming though.
