Then why when he said it wasn't rap you agreed and claimed that it didn't have to be rap
so are you refuting your agreement to the last statement? If you had said this prior then the "not even rap" comment (thus making macklemore by your standereds not a rapper) and actually denied that it was not rap then the argument would of been the former and you simply would not of liked his style but now it sounds kinda like backpedaling.

How about I start from the beginning and say this. The reason I don't like THIS TYPE of rap is that it all sounds the same to me. By that I mean it sounds the same as TYGA, Lil Wayne, Tyler the Creator, Wiz Khalifa etc. They all have that monotone sound, have no harmonies etc and are just in one key if you get what I mean. They all rap about the same thing like smoking weed, fucking bitches and all that. I just find that type unbearable and unpleasant.
