Im sure most of you consider AVA as very important to yourself right? Why not become a skilled top player, why not become esl, iesf, aic, champions?

Why aren't you working to become the best you can be? If you can't answer these questions or feel ashamed go work and get better.

Excuses like: "everyone lags" "everyone hacks" "I lag" "I play for fun" do not stand as valid arguments.

On the contrary, everybody lags (go watch SnowShovel's lastest vids, he has some examples), lagging bullets, hackers, macrofags which can't use their guns properly (I have no offense if you can actually tap a Para and use a macro, but I know some which turn their macro off and get noob), ridiculously OP weapons, bullshit (ex. 1 M67 and 2 flash in a non-nade spot), my 30 FPS, my shitty mouse, etc.

And overall, I don't strive to be the best, everything I want is to have fun in the Match channels without getting raped by clans.

I have always strived to be a top player & to become competitive even in a game like AVA. One of the reasons I don't or try to be one, is because of my personal life. My schedule is really random. Another reason is because some of the competitive host out there like ESL can't even host a proper tournament. Even akinator can host a better one than them. They allowed trash talking and hacking in some of their games and didn't even punish the players. In my opinion, being a competitive player makes you lose some sight of the fun of the game. I find a lot of the players that play "pro" turn to be very cocky. "I DON'T SEE YOU IN ANY TOURNY, OBV HACKZ" "YOU'RE A RANDY. I DONT SEE YOU IN TOURNIES"

Some people taking gaming seriously & is part of their daily life. Even for some, it's their salary. If you look at league players, they make more than an average american from 1-2 BIG tournaments.

Nope.
They don't make any money, they just USE their money to enjoy this game more.
Most of the gamers have a side job that they get a lot of money.
That's funny how almost every lone gamer have tons of money x).
