Wasn't even remotely my intention, quite the opposite actually. I was hoping to actually REDUCE the amount of CS by offering them an easy way out, and an incentive to contribute. The current 6 month policy will simply continue to stack CS on top of each other, as a hell of a lot more than 1 person gets it every 6 months.

I honestly don't really care if it were implemented because not only do I not give a shit about my rep, but I don't really care about being a CS if said idea was put in place.

I have a terrible temper, however I find it pathetic when people use the repping system to "get back" at others. I've negatively repped a few people back in the day only when they were being complete ******s.

The system will always be abused. However, only having positive rep is fucking pointless. Both can be abused. Just put "anyone found abusing the reputation system will be permanently banned". Boom, problem solved.

I'd understand more if -1000, or -10000 was reputation, then you'd get the CS title, not -100, people would abuse it like scums.

Why not reserve that power for Staff, High-ranked and/or Respected members .. /
and instead of -100 rep .. Why not make it -500 or -1000 .. ?
That way.. there would be a decrease in the Abuse and there wouldn't be any Insta-CS ..

There's never going to be no abuse in the system, so there's no point in this.

It is scary to let a method like this into the public but what if we simply tested it out for a short period of time see how things go and if it gets abused etc. we don't implement it ?

If we do not try new things it would be impossible to improvise and improve our experience on this site
