How do i run the swf file?

With Flash Player.

Works like a charm on my Macbook, however is it possible for someone to install this in the steam version of ROTMG? I know how, its just this is the application not the application pref.

OK, for everyone that does not know how to run an SWF from your desktop or whatnot, here is a tiny little tut.

First, you need to go to adobe's website. That is the creator of the flash 'projector' that you need in order to play an SWF offline.

Follow this link: Adobe Flash Player - Downloads

That should have taken you to the adobe website's download page, in which you can find numerous links and downloads and such.

Find the bold text that says your current operating system.

As of the time of this post, the current release was posted on 11/12/2013. Windows will be the first set of links. Again at the time of this post, the current release is 11.9.

Find the link that says Download the Windows Flash Player 11.9 Projector (EXE, 9.77MB). This will obviously change in time, but for now, that is what it says. (Only if you are on Windows, if you are on Mac, find the one for Mac, and Linux as well)

You do NOT want the debugger, as well as you do not want to use an ActiveX control content debugger or a Plugin content debugger.

Simply download the flash projector, nothing else.

Drag and drop your download to anywhere accessible on your computer and run it.

At the top left there is a button that says File > Open. Click that and find your desired .SWF file and click Open.. Your SWF should run.

You can now play RoTMG without the web browser

So I am kinda new to this and i dont know what i did wrong, when ever i load the .swf file it plays the game then when I press play it plays the music and the hud is there but my character and the and everything besides the hud is black.. please help
