Let me explain.
What is the point in giving a shit about literally anything? I realize the way the human mind works it doesn't allow us to just not give a fuck about anything without becoming insane. But is being insane really all that bad?
If you want to think of this in terms of religion, then I will do it. Let's say you are christian. If you go to hell, who cares? Sure, you have to deal with eternal hell fire, but no one fucking cares.

There's a profound difference between living without many cares, and truly not giving a shit, the latter being pretty much impossible. I know for a fact that you, as well as every single person that has ever lived, in fact cares about a great deal of things. Insanity doesn't really nullify any of the care, it simply changes your ideals, dogmas, and what you do care about. An insane man might not care about human life or standard societal norms, but he more than likely would want to protect himself and his beliefs, and avoid the consequences for his actions. For the average person, family, friends, hobbies, and personal beliefs are all rather important, and we all will become distressed when something threatens to harm or come in the way of them. The true mark of 'not giving a shit' isn't remotely all-encompassing, but rather not sweating the insignificant things, and not getting rustled by things that don't truly matter or affect you.

I'm rather sure it's impossible as it's wired within your Autonomic and deep Somatic Nervous System, far below even the most trained mind's consciousness. Even if it were viable, you'd be in such a state of lethargy that pretty much all of your primary bodily functions would shut down, causing almost certain death. We're wired like this for a reason, as it's an instinct of pure survival.
