So if you did not know, the same day my father was told he had so long to live, was the same day my girlfriend broke up with me. Woo.

But whatever. I was at school, and there is this girl I see almost every day and she is just the right kind of hot. Media really fucks kids up when it comes to what is really hot about women. This girl listens to all my music I like, she is a generally nice person, and seems to like me. Too bad for her, this is the first time I could not make a cohesive sentence when talking to her for the first time.

She walked up to my group of friends and said verbatim:

"Hey, sorry to interrupt your little metal circle jerk, but Jordan, you look amazing today." Now I did absolutely nothing today. Nothing. I mean nothing. My reaction is not what you would expect from someone you just gave a compliment to, usually you would say:

"Oh thanks. You are also very beautiful." Or something along those lines. Fuck that. I said:

"... THANKS." and I did not say it calmly. I said it like it was forced. she is like ohwellok and then walks away.

Jk, it doesn't seem so bad but having that happen face to face might have been pretty awkward. I'm sure she'll come back again and say it, all you have to do is wear the same clothes, same hair, shower, get the same group of friends, and sit in the same spot. Automatically will cause something to tick in her brain and she will repeat the compliment to you. This is what buying $50 worth of an eBook from an ad on Pornhub gets you.
