VIP is reserved and should be reserved for members with paid subscription for hacks, regardless whether or not we have any. VIP != donations.

This was a point that was brought up before, MPGH doesn't produce VIP hacks and hasn't done so for a long ass time, I doubt that they'll ever make a return. VIP was just an afterthought, I doubt that it would be implemented anyways. The only change that I even slightly expect to happen is the Donation changes, VIP is just a dream in the clouds. I still think it'd be nice to have but I seriously doubt it's chances of becoming a thing. Originally Posted by Doc

With MPGH switching to new software, you can't predict what kind of activity follows that. VIP has been an integral part of this site longer than when it hasn't. I don't think we should overwrite that usergroup just because we don't have any hacks. Who knows, perhaps we'll support a game that has a strong following, and perhaps that entails a strong hacking following as well. All it takes is another CF/CA game. Originally Posted by Scotia
