Hmm...what port are you putting it into?
Bought a new mobo
Bought a new cpu
Assembled it, turned the pc on, motherboard posted. I plug in my keyboard and it says "Keyboard not detected". The keyboard works fine on my laptop and old pc. If the keyboard doesn't function then I'm not able to go into my bios and make it to where it'll boot from a usb.
I've tried erasing the rtc ram, cmos battery and I haven't tried using another keyboard because I never had the need for another one.
So other than me trying another keyboard what else could I do to get my keyboard detected?
Budget build , noh8m8r88/8
Okay so I just looked at the mobo manual and I remember removing these little blue fitters off of all of these 3 pin things around the mobo. There were 4 total, I had 3 on(1 top and 2 at the bottom) the one that I just put on is for the USB wake up device but I highly doubt that is the reason why my keyboard isn't detecting.
Hmm...what port are you putting it into?
We can't fix stupidity, sorry.
A ****** with no rights speaks for the entire MPGH community. OUTSTANDING!
I'm actually trying to get solutions to this, not a ****** dick riding me. So could you please stop posting stupid shit on my thread? I'd appreciate it A LOT!
Any thread that has something to do with black people, any time I make a post you're there ready to say something like please hop off already.

Do you have a legacy port Keyboard lying around the place by any chance or a converter I remember I had a similar problem where only the legacy port would work on my mobo

Literally are you @Hunter! junior you fagboy? Explain how this is dick riding when literally you posted your 2 cents that pertained to nothing in this thread. You are part of the reason why everyone claims general is cancer, leave.
I would love to argue with you, but I have better things to do, then talk about @Hunter! all day.

wait does your mouse work? does everything work fine but the keyboard? if then wouldn't windows just dectect a driver? unless its that.

If you have working USB ports in your case, try using those. Also, look up "problems with ____" for your keybord. Just type in the model and you will most likely get fixes for it.
It might also be a problem with your motherboard itself, try googling that.

try using another keyboard if that option is avalible for you.

Drivers... Have you checked to make sure your drivers are working correctly and installed?
double check your mobo and make sure you used the CD that came with it to install the drivers.
