At my school, talking to the principal won't get you anywhere. They would just refer you back to the teacher. Also talking to another teacher seems useless (once again speaking from my experience) they can't do anything to help you.

Yes very same thing at my school, schools are very similar across the US. It couldn't change anything talking to principle.
