ISIS Abducts 90 Assyrian Christians and torches churches

Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists have kidnapped dozens of Christians in northern Syria. According to reports, some sources state that as many as 90 were abducted from their homes near Tal Tamr. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an anti-Assad regime monitoring group, said that 90 Assyrian Christians were abducted as Islamic State fighters were engaged in battles with Kurdish and Assyrian forces. The Observatory claimed that its sources heard radio chatter describing the new captives as “crusaders.” The Assyrian International News Agency (AINA) reports that four Assyrian fighters were killed as a result of the battles, along with tens of ISIS jihadists. AINA also reported that while dozens have been abducted, other Christian communities are now completely surrounded by the Islamic terrorists. The Islamic State also destroyed a “number of churches” in the area, which include the churches in Tel Hurmiz, Tel Shamiran, and Tel Baloua, AINA reports. Approximately 3,000 residents have been forced to flee their Assyrian communities in Syria. A source on the ground told AINA that people who live in the villages have not been answering their phones, and that some of the calls have been answered by ISIS jihadists. The news of the Assyrian Christians’ kidnappings comes just over a week after ISIS-affiliated jihadis in Libya beheaded 21 Egyptian Christians in a graphic five-minute video. In that video, titled “A Message Signed with Blood to the Nation of the Cross,” a militant leader promises to “conquer Rome, by Allah’s permission.” The Islamic State has insisted that the Christian people– the “crusaders,”–are its foremost enemy in the terror group’s jihad through Syria and Iraq. In its most recent publication of Dabiq, the ISIS propaganda magazine, the words “Crusaders” and “Christians” combined for over 100 mentions. In July, ISIS jihadis marked the houses of Iraqi Christians with the Arabic letter “Nun” for “Nazarene,” forcing many to flee or face imminent death. In the past year alone, 125,000 Middle East Christians have been forced to flee their homes.

Haines widow wants Jihadi John caught alive

The widow of a man killed by a masked Islamic State militant known as "Jihadi John" says she wants him caught alive.

Dragana Haines says the "last thing" she wants for the man who killed her husband, British aid worker David Haines, is an "honourable death". The militant, pictured in the videos of the beheadings of Western hostages, has been named as Mohammed Emwazi, a Kuwaiti-born Briton from west London. British police have not commented on his identity, citing ongoing inquiries. Emwazi, who is in his mid-20s and was previously known to British security services, first appeared in a video last August, when he apparently killed the US journalist James Foley. He was later thought to have been pictured in the videos of the beheadings of Mr Haines, US journalist Steven Sotloff, British taxi driver Alan Henning, and American aid worker Abdul-Rahman Kassig, also known as Peter. Apple Watch

Apple CEO Tim Cook is doing a tour in part to help prepare the world for the launch of the Apple Watch, which is likely going to be the start of the show at a special event on Monday March 9 at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco. He spoke to The Telegraph about the company’s first smart wearable and talked about what will motivate a purchase decision for the Apple Watch now, and why it’ll only get more attractive as time goes on. Smartwatches are already pretty abundant, but the difference an Apple Watch can offer isn’t limited to just Apple’s ability to take existing concepts and refine the hardware and software experience into something people are actually going to enjoy and find indispensable. It also has the power to effect complementary changes in adjacent industries, thanks to its ability to sell devices at great scale. A car maker might not currently see why they should offer Android Wear compatibility, for instance, but once there are even 5 million Apple Watches in circulation in the U.S., as a blind example, such functionality becomes a value-added selling feature for potential owners. Let's just hope that the watches live up to their expectations upon their release.

Valve's VR headset is named Vive, and HTC are making it

Valve's SteamVR headset has been fully exposed, ahead of its appearance at the Game Developers Conference next week. It's named Vive, HTC are making it, and it flaunts two 1200x1080 displays that refresh at 90 frames per second. This, according to HTC, allows the device to Fill your field of vision in all directions, eliminating the jitter common to previous VR Headsets. The HTC Vive will be supported by many game developers but also by Google, HBO and Lionsgate The consumer version is planned for release in 2015. This is incredibly exciting if it actually has some of the screens and features its boasts it could be the new king of VR headsets also here is a promotional video by HTC

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number gets a release date

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is coming for you on march 10th 2015 complete with a level editor and a single player campaign that encourages you to Follow the paths of several mass murderers shooting and bludgeoning goons in a story of retribution over spilled blood in the original game. It's pretty brutal.

Tell Tale games partnered with Hunger Games and Mad Men studio

It seems safe to assume we will get getting some more games involving these genres. Love them of hate them telltale has had some dud games but also some gems and would be interesting to see what they do with these series.

The ESL has announced a $1 million prize pool for the 2015 ESL One Dota 2 tournament series

Which it says represents "a quadrupling of its investment in the series last year". ESL has become an absolute powerhouse now with e-sports they are able to independently fund there events without any community help whatsoever this is pretty cool to see and only means more games and bigger cash prizes and a interesting sceptical to watch as time goes on.

GTA 5 Delayed on PC yet again

Sadly GTA 5 has been pushed back more on pc which isent great news to anyone looking to get there hands on it. Hopefully this means Rockstar care enough about there consumers to realise a non-buggy shitshow of a game that follows in the tracks of the Assassin creed games if anything this shows they care alittle about the PC community even though they have a funny way of showing it
