Detected versus outdated

my cheat is outdated, not detected, same for my friends. Why do you keep doing this?

I know what you mean, but...does it matter? Either way you arent going to use an outdated cheat or a detected cheat

Outdated: Offsets are incorrect and therefore won't work, but it hasn't been detected by valve
Detected: Offsets may still be correct, but it has been detected by valve and use will result in a VAC ban

It's a reputational problem. Having a hack labeled as detected will make people not want to use that one again, whereas labeling as outdated will tell people that it's not detected, simply outdated.

yeah, if it's outdated, it doesn't work, bam, nothing wrong..

like local player addres?

It's purely principle.

1. It's not detected so it's false information
2. Why would someone use a cheat if the last version was "detected"

I would like a response from a mod to save me taking this out with this section

Cuz lazy mod be lazy.

My cheat works fine, it's undetected.

All it needed was an offset updated in the config, but instead some lazy inexperienced mod labeled it as detected. Good job

Well it seems like we only have one Mod @Color and i think he needs more help from the others .

btw : Detected makes us a coder have a lil bad REP :x

so i woke up this morning updated my cs go launched ur hack, joined comp match pressed f6 game crashed i was like ow wtf, did it again , game crashed its ok i played without hacks, the match wwas about to end , it took me to the main screen BOOM VAC BANNED WTFFF

i cant buy the game again

Well yeh, if you choose to hack it's a Consuquence you can get banned for it
