Tutorial: How to Oryx Dupe

Okay just so people stop asking about how the oryx dupe works so i thought id make a detailed thread about how it works and the protocol

Required:

• 2 RotMG accounts both named to allow trading

• Items to dupe

• Closed Realm

Optional:

• Multiple accounts(increase profit)

• Event notifier(find closed realms)

• Hacked client(instantly connect to closed realms)

• DDOS service/projectile/ability spam(Increase chance of realm crash

How it works

• When its time to go to oryx and the game server crashes all previous actions by players are rolled back a few seconds AKA trades get rolled back ~8 seconds.

• So if the server crashes after you trade, both characters will end up with the traded items, hence the "rollback"

Method:

*for clarification purposes the accounts will be named Account A, who starts with the Items and Account B as the trading mule who receives the items*

• Load up two different named RotMG accounts, A and B.

• Find or enter a closed realm with both accounts.

• Trade account A from B or vice versa.

• Select the items on account A you wish to dupe.

• Accept the trade on B.

• Open up options on B.

• Wait for realm to start shaking.

• Approximately 7 or 8 seconds after the realm begins to shake, accept the trade on A.

• Immediately click "back to home" on client B, sending him to the home screen with the items.

• Hope that the server crashes and A never loads to oryx but gets kicked to the title screen with "Load Error, Retrying"

• Wait for the 10 min account in use timeout on A and then log back in.

• Items should be on account A and B.

Notes:
-The server crash that causes this dupe is very rare. Although when the crash DOES happen you have a pretty high chance of duping
-Like very rare
-Timing the Trade works best with Orape's built in event notifier set to notify for 18 seconds so you trade when the timer reaches 10
-Using multiple accounts is advised because it increases the productivity of this dupe greatly because of the rarity

the ddos doesnt work, thats the main servers ip. realms come under different ips. Also spamming abilities also does nothing, been many of times when ive had/seen 20+ huntresses spamming abilities. Also crashes are like once every few days if that

Basically this dupe:
actively used and working for 7+ months
Started out as people spending hours upon hours using 2 accounts
evolved into using an even notifier to greatly increase rate of realms
some people started using many accounts
Dupe greatly favors people with powerful machines. If you cant run more than 4 accounts it's not worth it.
Amount of rings duped? Well... Thats a tough one... Personally i think it must be in the hundreds of thousands by now... I Know it sounds stupid that there would be 2 ubhps for every fucking active player in this game but basing on my own numbers, under 50 people would have had to dupe as much as me for it to be up there. And besides. 7 months adds up to about 210 days. Lets say there has been an average of 8 crashes a day for the whole period. (it once happend like 20+ times a day for a week straight and generally used to be much higher than 8 a day) Now the average amount of duped rings per crash is the real tough one. At the first month? 250-500 rings a crash, i fucking swear. Later months? Much lower... But I dare to say that the average amount of rings per crash is 60-70 ish throughout this method. I could be completely wrong. But if these numbers are almost correct thats a good 100k+

And ok guys. Op has shared the base method, I'll give you guys the DLC for free. Well Theoretical-DLC. The DLC's name is "Duping Untradeables"

So. Whats this all about? Well this is basically a little thing that was shared within a skype group i was a part of like fucking 5 months ago. It's basically this:
Be in vault and take out an item from your vault you want to dupe (ANY ITEM). The moment you see a realm pop up on your even notif, go there. Once oryx shake begins, connect to your vault again and quickly place the item within your vault chest and then press whatever your orape key is to reconnect to the realm is. If you were quick enough and lucky and a crash happens, THe item should theoretically be in both your inventory and the vault because it was saved back when you first connected.

Has this ever worked for me? No. Too busy to spend my time testing a theory.
