Learn to time the attack with the right mouse button and just aim for the head. The shovel gets a wide range of attack and the Axe does some good damage so those give an edge (no pun intended)
its all about timing, u gotta know when to click so u will hit them, and as with all things aim for the head

OT: you should try to Time your Attack like everyone else say's, the shovel is like glitched so ffrom like 2 feet away you can kill someone, the axe is good too, they have different timing, thats all i gotta say.
