VAC help

I was just wondering how does vac detect a hack signature. Such as if one is a private hack why would that be better than a public one. As well as a less known hack wouldn't that almost be the same as a private hack? I'm just looking for some clearing up. Do offsets have anything to do with this?

Private hacks are not open to the community, so Steam is unable to easily obtain the file for examination and banning, therefore it will take a long time for them to find the hack signature unless some asshole leaks the hack. Some tips on staying VAC undetected would be to use an EXE Packer. I recommend Enigma, UPX, or VMProtect for this. These programs virtually change the hack signature and prevent it from analysis by opening the hack in a virtual machine on the computer that is unaccessible by the game. I would recommend one when using a public hack such as ezfrags or glowESP.
