SolvedOpenIV trouble

Hey guys, so seeing as im perm banned in gta i decided to start messing with OpenIV (now that i dont have to transfer over original files to play online). But i cant get shit to work. Im doing everything right (i think). I followed multiple video tutorials step by step with no luck.
My problem is every time i overwrite a file (ex: Replacing the Elegy with a GTR Nismo skin) and then launch the game, GTA says theres a problem with the integrity of game files and verifies it. It will then redownload and replace the files i overwrote, and im back at square one with default files.
Wtf do i? Hope one of you great people of the MPGH community can help me out here because im sure the fuck lost.

I do not have the Steam version of the game. Im using the straight from Rockstar version. Im not sure if thats fucking me up and i need to add in an extra step in order to mod the game properly with OpenIV.

Blocked GTAs internet access with Norton as a quick fix for my problem (seeing as im perm banned, it needing internet is pointless anyway. Unless they add content). So now the game wont auto verify the integrity of files and i can enjoy my GTR Nismo.

Would still love it if someone could tell me what i was doing wrong so that when an update does happen the game wont remove all my mods.

It happens to me as well, using the Social Club version. It actually reloads exact the same files I changed.
That's R*'s message; "If you want to mod, get yourself a crack and do it offline."

Not sure if that's smart or as dumb as one can get.. :/ But it's working.

Download RLD AIO crack from google it i think the best one is on corepacks.c o m then run the installer choose update 5 with RLD crack then when installed run the game you will notice it will load offline without social club now you can use open iv to mod any file you want.

The best idea might be to get yourself a mod launcher so you can use the unmodded and the modded version without creating multiple shortcuts.
