If you haven't ever used Cheat Engine before, have no experience with programming whatsoever - give up. Not only you need to know what you're supposed to do, understand how the game works and how can you exploit it, but also patiently work and experiment. It's time-consuming, and if you're unprepared you'll give up before you'll start.
