Rust Rangefinder Overlay (AutoHotKey script - Not VAC/EAC bannable)
Heyoo guys, been a while since I've actually contributed to anything on MPGH. I'm working on a neat little rangefinder based off of TygerByte's PNG Overlay Script over on the AHK forums. I'll be releasing this shortly in the next couple of days while I finish up finding proper ranges on weapons such as spears and whatnot. The download will come with a large pack of customizable crosshairs to suit your fancy. :3

What's done so far.
  • Bow ranges for both standard and High-Velocity arrows.
  • Crossbow ranges for High-Velocity arrows.


What's being added currently.
  • Ranges for standard arrows for the crossbow.
  • Ranges for spears (Possibly need to make a second finder for Stone spears...)
  • A shit ton of nifty customizable crosshairs!


Future plans
  • Idk for now, if you have any ideas then lemme know.




Expect this tool to be released around Monday. :3

I've been super busy over the weekend due to a complicated family issue. I'll push out the version you see in the screenshots sometime today, I wasn't able to get around to finishing the rangefinder for now.

Looks great!! but was thinking how good it will be without a working ESP? I mean if you don't know how far the other players is always...its still a guessing games?? If I'm wrong, can you please tell how I will use this as a guide for aiming.

Once you get used to how far people are judging by the size of their bodies on your screen, you can easily line up the shot with this and have an easier time hitting.

in a way this sounds like a onscreen crosshair. If so I would like to know how you were able to do this without killing your fps 20 - 30 frames.

I went ahead and drew a transparent image of a range indicator and then used a script created by someone else (TygerByte as mentioned in the OP) to center the image on your screen. This shouldn't tank your fps whatsoever, I don't run a super beefy rig and I haven't lost a single frame from this.
