Paypal help

i was trading with a guy and he said he was going first, he sent me an invoice and im not sure if its asking me to pay or its saying that i should receive the money?
The guy stopped aswering so im guessing he tried to scam me and he failed but it says that its "Status: Marked as paid on September 6, 2015"
Does that mean i paid?

Yes. Invoices sent to you mean that you are paying him, but he made it look like he sent money to you aka scam

If you accepted the invoice , yes you got scammed. If you talk with Paypal support , I guess you may get your money back, but I am not sure about it. There are many people knowing about Paypal disputes and scams here in MPGH, so lets wait for someone more experienced to answer. I just suggest to stay calm (if you can), I am thinking positive about your position. Good luck mate!

Hmm I don't think you can get the money back from invoice but he scammed you in a pretty smooth method. Report him

Yeah, saw through that scam earlier. Quick Google search on that format turns up loads of dirt.

I do not want to get involved with invoice. Next time don't bother with it at all. So sorry to hear that you got scammed

Definitely a scam, @Terio . That does mean that you paid, but I would contact PayPal Support (even though they really suck) and try to sort this out. Otherwise, if there is another way to undo your actions, then explore those options.

Thats a scam someone tryed on me 3 times its bullshit trust me

I have no CC or any money on my paypal, how can i have paid? can the guy mark it as paid from his side?

he did not pay nor have you paid . Basically he is sending you an invoice ( request you to pay ) with misleading message saying that he paid you and such , dont worry and just ignore it as you didnt pay him anything

You actually accepted the invoice, I've seen it happening before. I'd say contact PayPal support OVER PHONE as fast as possible!

dont think he accept it because he said he got no money / cc link to his paypal
