.Dll Rat?
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I don't know anyhting bout these stuff
But I downloaded a working hack a few days back, it was in a .dll format and I injected it into a game using Cheat Engine, I was told yesterday on another forums that injecting that .dll creates some kind of Virus on a computer's BIOS, which is permanant and can't be fixed by doing things like a full system reset, is it even possible for injecting a dll file to do that? And if so is there anyway to remove this "virus"
Or am I paranoid or something?

Ran MalwareBytes and Notron Security, found nothing

@OP, yes it's completely possible.
Yes it is possible for it to provide a hack and run some other functions as you are playing makes common sense to do so really.

No, it's technically impossible. But the game could be infected (of course not with a dynamic library).
Please, do a scan with: AdwCleaner & ComboFix.

Updating your BIOS might do the trick or simply flash it.

DLLs can contain viruses. Specifically, RATs.

( Trust me, I know what I'm talking about. It's nowhere near impossible. )

... If it's a BIOS virus, nothing you can do can remove it short of reflashing it. CMOS battery removal won't reset the software on the chip.

Flashing a BIOS is nowhere near simple.

Every Time I had to do it I always nearly shat my pants. One small mistake -> New motherboard required.

Yes and no ... it depends with the type of the dll and how does it loads it. DllMain should go rapidly but note that it's always limited by the user privileges.

Reformat your pc again
