Steam Question

I recently bought a steam account that has the store region set for Russian Federation as default. Since its default I wont be able to change it to USD (Already tried) so I am wondering if I bought a $20 Steam card and activated it on the account if it would redeem the money as Russian Rubles or USD?

Really not sure the key words I would need to Google this so yea. Anyone know?

I think it will change to where your region settings since im on Malaysia i did try bought from another currency which is Indonesia and when i redeem the steam wallet code it changed to MYR instead of Indonesia currency . .

i guess if its a default so its will be redeem as rubles money.

Did you try it from Account settings? Because there's a option on account settings: https://store.steampowered.com/account/ where you can change the store region, I'm unsure if that's what you've tried.

Try also this link and see if it works http://store.steampowered.com/?cc=us .. I know, I'm a total nerd

You can also contact steam support and see if they're able to fix it for you, give it a go

I would try that if I felt like they wouldn't check IP's. Tbh I'm not that worried about it, was just wondering if there was a step or 2 that I missed but there wasn't.
