Installation Dir

Error message says
failed to update registry Installation Dir

anyone know what that means and can help me?

I ve tried deleting all my files and registries but that doesnot seem to work

I have windows vista(32) and I havenot played BHeroes in a while

the explorer your using... eg firefox or internet explorer... click start and find the explorer... right click... 'properties' click the 'compatability tab' then check 'run this in compatability mode for' then choose 'windows vista' then check 'run this program as an administrator' then 'apply' then 'ok' and it should install

I have a Toshiba Satellite A-305 model with vista home premium 32-bit and it works perfectly fine...I use firefox
1. run firefox as admin...
2. try uninstalling the game and reinstalling it mabey your files are corrupt
3. compat mode as potato said....
4. update your computers applications or add ons

run as admin then it works

1. start up bfh
2. when all started up and it says Installation Dir... Press windows button + r or something...
3. there will apeare a small find box..
4. type in: Regedit
5. there will start some kind of program..
6. Then search in that program for Installation Dir..
7. Delete it and make sure it is deleted!
8. Then you can start up BFH and it works

Re-install... Thats the only thing I can think of?

Reinstallation would be the best option if you cannot get it working. However, i think you should try to find a solution before reinstalling. It would be easier to find one and try it than reinstalling. If you have no other option, then, yes reinstall.

Save as a .reg file (like registry3.reg)

execute it
