Overwatch and Casual

I was wondering, no matter how much I rage hack in casual will I ever be banned assuming I have a cheat that CANT be VAC detected? I notice that the report option exists still in casual and was just wondering.

I have searched and get inconsistent answers.

Hacks will never be UNDETECTED. You will get banned. Once Valve releases a vac wave. You'll be on VACation.

That's just utter bullshit. His cheat will not always be undetected but he won't get VAC as soon as a VAC wave comes up.

You 100% CAN NOT get overwatch banned in casual. I would have been banned ages ago if you could.

Overwatch is only in effect in competitive matchmaking.

Although, it is debated whether or not casual reports count towards overwatch in competitive.

I saw somewhere that if you get enough reports even OUT of MM Vale Technicians will look at your game and attempt to run strange code to see if it is a hack... so maybe 100% priavte cheats could be detected.

If you rage hack in any mode there's a 50/50 chance of being VACed.

That's not true for several reasons:
1. That's illegal in the US & UK.
2. That's not possible as you can't just run c++ code without compiling it, meaning they would have to compile it, send it to your computer, and inject or execute it depending on whether it's an internal or external, which is illegal.
3. That video was by a twitch streamer, none of them know jack shit about VAC or the reporting system.
4. Why the fuck would valve programmers/employees (don't call them "technicians" nerd) take the time out of their day to check a single person when they can use methods that mass-detect people?
