Should i start Code c++?

Hi guys!

I code in VB now and know almost everything there but... i can´t go forward with it because in VB you can´t make a directx hack like you can do in C++ so I wondering what i should do...

Try learn basic´s of c++ or continue with VB!

you don't need to quit VB to start C++, you can perfectly do both.. but yea, learn c++... ^^

Way to revive dead threads.

Well to revive a previously revived thread... I think knowing VB might help you in learning Windows programming, but there really is a limit to VB. I would learn c++... I knew java, but I decided it would be better to learn C++ to program for windows, its also given me a better understanding of Java as well.

C# ftw ...

im about to put vb aside and start learning C++, and C# again where i left off. started with vb because i wanted to try out a "easier' language first. ya know what i mean? get the feel for it , then jump into harder stuff.
