Injecting not working?
I'm trying to get rid of the tinted screen when your a zombie, when you capture a flag, and when you get hit. But when I try it in game nothing has changed and the files are back to normal.

1. I used RezXtract.exe to extract UI_HUD_Info.rez

2. I used DTXConvert.exe to convert the following files from Nexon DTX to LithTech DTX

C:\Nexon\Combat Arms\Game\UI_HUD_Info\HUDEFFECT_FLAGGET.DTX
C:\Nexon\Combat Arms\Game\UI_HUD_Info\HUDEFFECT_HIT.DTX
C:\Nexon\Combat Arms\Game\UI_HUD_Info\QUARANTINEMODE\HUDEFFECT_INF ECTED.DTX

Note that the extracted folder has the same name as the Rez file and is also in C:\Nexon\Combat Arms\Game\

3. Using Photoshop CS4 (with the required plug-ins), I made the images black (which seems to be transparent from what I saw in the other DTX files I snooped around in, please correct me if this is wrong)

4. I saved it, keeping it in DTX format, and used the default save options in the pop-up

5. I opened the saved DTX file to verify that the save worked (it did)

6. I used DTXConvert.exe to convert the three files back to Nexon DTX from LithTech DTX

7. I opened RezInject.exe

8. For Rez File to Inject I chose
C:\Nexon\Combat Arms\Game\UI_HUD_Info.rez

9. For Files to inject I chose the same three I editted

10. I clicked inject

11. It said Injection Completed!

12. I went in-game and nothing had changed

So far...

I re-extracted UI_HUD_Info.rez after injection to see if the files were how I wanted, but when I looked at them the three I had edited were back to normal.

To narrow it down further. I reinstalled the game then repeated all the steps without doing step 12 in-case it was auto updated during launch. The files were still default again when I checked with a re-extraction.

So it seems there was an injection problem

Help is very appreciated.
Same problem here.

I'm runnin vista 32.
Did you not see UI_HUD_Info.rezNEW in the Game folder? After you're done injecting take out your old UI_HUD_Info or delete and then take the "NEW" out of UI_HUD_Info.rezNEW.
