Hacking in CrossFire.
I would like to know everything about cheats in crossfire! I see everytime I come on the crossfire section of the forum all I see in red and orange are detected and patched.

Are the cheats detected because they are public?
If you made a cheat and didn't release it or get reported would you get banned?

How are the cheats made?
What coding language?
What tools?

Yes, hacks get faster detected if public. When detected, even if they're private ones, you can still get banned.
With my short knowledge I can tell you, a game works with huge quantity of code lines, and hacking means, then, finding and modifying them. The language usually used is C++, and if I'm not wrong, some use Cheat Engine and/or Hex Editors to find the code lines...
How does everyone start creating them? I can't just learn a language, it would take forever and it is useless to me..

I don't know, I'm not a coder. What I know, is you're trying to work with a taxi, without knowing how to drive... you have no other option, you need to learn C++, it's the basis of cheating.

If this is your attitude, please leave the thread and section immediately. You will never be able to create a crossfire hack thinking like that. Yea - the language does take forever to learn... But if you think it is useless to you then you really have no idea what you are talking about. Lookup some threads on C++ or check out YouTube for tutorials. Start with the basics and you can work your way up.
Lol im not some geek nerd who will waste his or her time learning a programming language that will later be useless in his or her life.

That sounds very offensive to some people here on MPGH.
