The Monogatari Series

Watch it in release order rather than Chronological, since not all of it is out yet(plus it's better that way)

Also, the series hops around in time frames. Here is a chart that shows where you're at. There are spoilers obviously, so I wouldn't recommend looking at it till you're caught up to Owarimonogatari(current) but it's worth having around.

The main character is Araragi. There is no romance, other than a relationship between Araragi and Senjougahara. He still lusts after Hanekawa, but would never actually do anything. The only female showing interests in him more than friends is Hanekawa, Kanbaru, and obviously his girlfriend. You could imply *spoiler* Hachikuji

It depends on the time frame. Just watch the series. If you're asking these questions I'm guessing you haven't watched it.

Well yeah. Araragi is Koyomi. Koyomi Araragi.

Kanbaru is simply her craving after him, which is what I said. I never said he craved her.

Same with with Hanekawa. She still shows interest even if its very slightly.

Yeah, Hachikuji was a stretch. There was that scene that made me think that way.

Shinobu would maybe try to go with him but I dont really see it from what we've seen, and nothing hints that in Kizumonogatari.

Yotsugi doesn't show anything for emotion. Shes bland in that sense so I didnt think she counted.

just my thoughts

kanbaru only believes in physical relationships and not emotional(she said so herself). they're just friends with benefits (if any). they're attracted to each other but they're not gonna go anywhere

For Shinobu, Shinobu only thinks of araragi and her as a servant/master relationship. it's pretty basic

Hachikuji. She loved him as a close close close friend but not gf/bf stuff. Did she want to stay close with him? yes. Did she want to be his lover? no Did she want to leave? no.

disregarding hanekawa and ononoki because irrelevant

Friends with benefits is still a relationship, even if its not one that he has with Senjo. They're obviously not going anywhere, it's just comedy.

Empire mentioned Shinobu vs. Senjo and it was going to be in his unreleased books.

Hachikuji? I know that. She still shows emotion towards him that could eventually lead up to something more. It's the idea, not the current action.

She should be his girlfriend. Read Kizumonogatari, or wait till the first part of the movie and you'll see why.


Ononoki just doesn't show emotion.
