Ending Banner

Can i simply remove the ending banner from my Combat arms folder to remove that annoying banner? The banner is pointless noone ever reads the damn thing and its laggy it takes the game longer to shut down simply from that dumbass banner.. So Can i just remove it without corrupting the game?
