Why is almost all the new cheats get outdated and not Detected? Is the coders one step ahead Valve or something ?

Outdated/Detected mean the same thing essentially lol.

outdated means something like = need new offsets or code
detected = volvo detected this

Outdated means that the cheat is not detected but it is simply not working anymore due to an update. There has been a lot of changes recently, there will be new hacks soon.

False. When a cheat is outdated it is simply not working, it won't get you banned. With a detected cheat you will get banned instead.

I was talking about in the sense that it won't work for him if he uses either or of the variety.

A detected cheat works most of the time, but it will get you banned. So that's false too. (If that's what you meant )

I mean either way he should NOT use either of them that has been labeled that, it's not going to work for him and/or get him banned.

There's no point of touching either of the files that have been assigned that label.

I'm gathering from the way he asked this question that he's planning on trying to use a detected/outdated hack on here.

Usually because a new version is released before people start saying they got VAC'd, hence why the get closed as outdated.

If alot of people post they got VAC'd with proof it'll be marked as detected.
