Amazon refund help

Hi so I bought an item from amazon.com. ship n sold by Amazon. I am trying get to get a ddiscount for this purchase. . .. I got the item ytd. But have problem finding a service provider who answer questions. Finally some 1 replied me. So I gave him the details ytd and he says that it's under investigation for 48 hours. But I didn't get any email from amazon. And the status still shows delivered ytd. Is this normal?

There are a lot of variables. Could have used chat and that takes longer and isn't as successful. What Amazon website? and what item?

If the refunfer says it's under investigation why you just don't wait? Cause he will prolly refund it after 48h amazon sometimes don't even send email and you're from Singapore it's normal
