hearing myself
Hey guys, um so basically this is what happens.
when I plug in my mic to my PC I keep hearing what my mic hears even though I've turned off that feature in Windows 7.
When I boost my mic here's what happens:
1. No boost
mic on: can hear what my mic hears, mic off: nothing
2. +10dB, +20dB, or +30dB
mic on: can hear myself and the higher the boost the louder the sound(obviously) and a static sound, mic off: a static that gets louder and louder from 10dB to 30dB
What headset do you have? I remember a pair of turtle beaches that I had would echo my own voice very faintly so it would prevent me from yelling since you cant hear yourself that well with headphones on.
