Ever since I was 11 years old I've wanted to build a Gaming PC. Now, here I am at 14. I was able to buy my first PC parts because of the money MPGH has helped me make. So it is pretty much because all of this community that I have these opportunities. But anyway, here are my parts. I ordered them yesterday. Any improvements?
GIGABYTE GA-F2A78M-D3H FM2+
EVGA 100-W1-0430-KR 430W ATX12V / EPS12V 80 PLUS
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)
AMD Athlon X4 860K Kaveri Quad-Core 3.7 GHz
SAPPHIRE Vapor-X Radeon R9 270X
you should have went with the AMD A6 6400K much better and cheaper, also, you should swap the 270x for a 960 either the 2GB or 4GB
Solid Build, Could have gone with a Low spec Intel CPU and a r9 270

low spec Intel CPU's are not as good as good as AMD because of Multi-threading and they also have more cores. but when spending over $200 get a Intel CPU

Not too many low spec intels are quad core. Plus this bad boy has over clocking capabilties for when I get a new cooler. Plus the 270x is better than the 270 I believe

Yeah but I wanted quad core. I plan on doing some intensive stuff besides gaming too, those extra cores will come in handy. And flat out I just didn't have enough money for the 960. I planned to but then I would have to sacrifice on the PSU, and I didn't want to do that.
Just make sure you plug the usb ports into your motherboard, and make sure your motherboard has enough ports to fit all the fans on
If you have the money, go with a Intel Skylake CPU, the i7 6700k and get a GTX 970. If you don't have the money try to get a i5 quad core, and definitely change that 270x to a 970, the 970 is cheaper than it. I personally don't like AMD but in your case , and AMD CPU is good, just the GPU i would definitely change to a 4GB VRAM 970, then you can SLI it in the future to go 4k gaming!
Not an expert as all I've done is replace my Graphics card. Make sure everything fits, mine almost didn't.
