I really don't think the Tomahawk is worth the price to modify. The Kukri is probably the better mod for your buck, as it only costs 500 GP, compared to the Tomahawk, which is 900 GP (I think). On top of this, there is also that high rank requirement for the Tomahawk, which makes it even less appealing. True that, im not even high rank enuff. PLUS, i don't use super knife on my higher ranked account.
