Staff tend to be more known and liked for obvious reasons (helping people out when they need it ect), so I don't see a problem with it. I don't think it's ass kissing, it's just voting for people who deserve it.

Yes, that IS a reason, but that's not THE reason they do it, they do it thinking that staff will thank/rep them and be their friend and shit, for contests, staff really should not be allowed to be nominated, almost every vote is a staff, it's like that failed "CS Ban" thingy, where there were barely any CS and that it was the same CS getting banned repeatedly, just like how for every contest mpgh hosts, its always the same staff over and over again.

I voted for a staff member and I don't care about my thanks or rep, I simply did it because I thought that certain staff member deserved it. Staff help people, that's a big part of their job, so obviously people will like them more and think of them first when it comes to these situations. Obviously some will ass-kiss, but I don't think the majority are ass-kissers.

I do go off of what I see, so I could have been wrong. But from what I've seen, I do think I voted for the right person and that he deserved it.
I could be wrong, but again, I do just go off of what I see when looking around the forum.

Haha true but they can easily solve this problem by having a NON staff only pharaoh, but really no one gives too many fucks about it. It's just a tag, for real. If you want the tag then become a staff and help out new members and they will vote you. A good example is @Hunter , after he became a staff he helped out a whole bunch (not worth it to be honest) and people nominated him. So yeah don't bitch about it.
