Just started programming

Aye, I have started C# like half year ago on school and still haven't tried it on home, and I'd like to try. I mean till now I have done only via Console Application things such as for, while, return and bool. Nothing special yet, I was curious if there any plans I can try to work on. I really want to make some things, results that I can make with my knowledge, skills though it's still poor.

Are there some tutorials? I'd like to know how to make basic applications such as what you have stated.

At first you need to know the basics of the Programming language you'd use.
Search a C# Tutorial with Google.

What do you want to develop?
If you know this, then...
Look in Google what you need and look at the source code.
Find out what you need and what the code does.

Google (or a book) is your best friend, if you want to learn programming.

Thank you both, I'll go for a calculator.

I started seriously learning c# about 2.5 years ago. Leveled out at an intermediate level.

If all you've done is console apps, I highly recommend the Head First C# book. It will likely review some information, but it focuses on teaching you programming using the GUI tools in visual studios. This is the same style that the Air Force teaches C# in training during a 4 month 9 hour a day course. (Just using their own materials instead of that book).

Essentially how they teach is by giving you a basic introduction to some new material, and then giving you a few projects to make. It is very effective at learning how shit actually works. That book somewhat does this as well.
