Tips?
Hey guys any tips for rushing abysses?
People love to rush with Melee classes; make sure your defense is maxed. Warriors are usually the first choice for their speedy buff, otherwise usually the run past a few rooms, find one with minimal lava, and circle around in it to pick off any dragged demons.
Otherwise Rogue is a nice option, but again make sure defense is maxed.

I used to rush with a t5 helm warrior and it is sketchy sometimes so pally/knights are still the best choices if you don't have a jugg
for abysses:
melees/protpriest if you have a decent pet(you can die)
prot priest or rogue if you have a good pet(you're godlike)
you can still rush with rogue using a medium pet but it is risky as shit.
I recomend using a speedy class like Warrior or Rogue
But i really enjoy rushing with a priest with prot.

Just one tip that everyone ofcourse is supposed to know this: if there's 'oryx lagg' or you are having a bad connection while you are rushing.
Just leave, you'll most likely get instakilled.

True that.
If you have 4 life you can 1/8 (def) a palladin and slowly but consistanly rush abysses, watch out for 4 way rooms, brutes can still fuck you up because they are faster than you, even if your pet sucks you can still use your seal to keep healthy.

If you dont have the 4 life, you want a 0/8 sorc and a MHeal pet and equips you can afford to loose, takes a little longer but is brain dead safe as long as you keep spamming your ability as it shoots round corners and shit.

For best performance you need a 4/8 (minimum) warrior with Jugg and Dblade, with practice you can rush an abyss in about 2 mins, depending on the layout.
(which I'm assuming you don't have because if you had 2 UTs and a 4/8 melee you probably wouldn't need advice on abysses.)

Regardless of what method you go with, watch out for the mages, (they fire the big slow missiles) even on a maxed knight a few of them stacked can wreck you, also when you get the hang of rushing, turn off safe walk, sometimes its better to take a step in lava than face tank a million demons because you didnt have the space to circle properly, oh yea, you need about 35-40 spd to keep up with the brutes, learn how to circle. Also a good rule of thumb is to go the opposite way to the most logical path to Malph, treasure rooms arn't really worth hunting your better off getting back into the realm and starting to hunt more abysses.

Source: About 1500 abysses, mostly on pallys and sorcs.
Warrior is my favourite class for abysses, takes no time and you tank everything with your usual def, no need for jugg if you have an okay-ish pet, max rare is fine for rushes of heal/mheal, and if you aren't maxed def its relatively easy to rush with a max legendary pet
@Danny i agree with you.

Ofcourse you do babe <3
Rogue is pretty sketchy as everyone's said
Warrior and Knight is better if your unmaxed
Pally is a little squishy if your pet is trash

This is my rogue which has around 5h of active gameplay

I have a ~71/71 legendary hp/mp pet(max 90) and I can cloak teleport through the entire abyss.
It's 100% safe if you just time the uncloak, and since I have 81 speed, it's faster than melees.

I assure you it is not.

lol explain please?
Buffed warriors can get to around 80 speed while buffed(which isn't all the time) and they also have to avoid shots + kill monsters. If you don't have a good pet, that becomes a nightmare.
I've tried to rush with all kinds of uts for abysses except oreo and my top 4 chars for easier/fun rushs are:

1-prot priest(better than rogue because I can drag a giant mob of monsters to kill people) - plus you are always at 100% hp
2-planewalker rogue(it's actually very relaxing because you only have to run and press space) - fast as fuck - etherite still beats bone dagger
3-jugg warrior
4-pally, because he can easily destroy abysses with a mere 50/50 pet

If you can't rush abysses on a warrior with a 50/50 pet then you are doing something wrong.
If you can do the traditional permacloak on rogue, use the permacloak exploit (http://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=962611). As long as you can time the button right, you are basically invincible. However it CAN disconnect you if you use for too long, so turn it on for abysses. It works due to the cloak cooldown being client side.

If you can't do this, use any melee class. IMO paladin/knight/jugg warrior are the best.
