Idk why this happens too.
Even if you're using the same program, for some computers, the blackshot processes will turn red and disappear after a few seconds, but for others it won't.
On my main computer if I suspend too long, BS will crash.
But for my second computer, I can suspend my blackshot whenever I want, and even if I resume 1 hour later, blackshot won't crash.

You just gotta be fast and scroll down immediately and suspend and resume with the hotkeys.
For Process Hacker:
Suspend > right click + s
Resume > right click + u
