[Solved] the game client crashes

the game client crashes

For some reason, the game client keeps crashing with no error message or anything in return.
I can log in and start a game and after a couple of minutes it crashes instantly without doing anything.
Please, help ASAP.

Did u just start getting this problem or u have been getting it since u download the game first time?

This is the first time, and i have tried removing the game and getting a clean installation, yet the remains unsolved.

I guess maybe u don't have all the requirements to be able to run the crossfire client, ill see if i can send u the requirements later one because im kind of busy, but i'd appriciate it if u can send me a private message and ill get to you as soon as possible.

If i don't have the requirements then it would've never opened in the first place..
As i said, it was running smoothly but then suddenly it started to crash after 3 minutes.

I think this problem started ever since i installed the new updates for windows 8.1 Pro. Might it be compatibility problem with the new update or something?!

Are you simply uninstalling and then reinstalling? Try deleting all of the saved files in your hard drive as well then reinstall the game with the updated installer.

I'm not. I deleted all the files, went for a clean boot, re-installed the game, ran the game..... and then it was the same!

I had this exact problem twice in the past. It's been a while since I've done the fix so give me a couple minutes to look into the files and see if I can remember how I did it. It took me a long time to figure it out in the past. xP

Edit: Okay. I couldn't find it online but I remembered messing with the process list on my task manager and it fixing something. I'd take a look at that and see if there may be anything open that's different and could possibly messing with Crossfire. Hopefully this helps.

Un-install any softwares you've installed since this problem started to happen, they may be the cause.
