Server
So I recently got a server as a trial, but I haven't touch MC in years, so I don't know how to really start hosting. Any suggestions on what I should do? plugins? and server name?

I'd say there are a few essential plugins. PS: Use spigot not bukkit.
Essential plugin list:
Essentials
Group manager/permission ex (pick which ever)
World guard
World edit
Multiverse portals
Multiverse inventories
Multiverse
No cheats plus

Spigot is more server friendly (uses less CPU and RAM). Spigot is the better version of bukkit essentially.

I've used spigot for almost 2 years and I haven't found one plugin that didn't work on spigot. Most plugins, if not all should work as long as the plugin is built for the version
