Totally depends on whether it's under high stress or not, 51 degrees on idle would be bad though.

I get 20 idle, and 40 under high stress, and that is only with a cheap aftermarket Heatsink.
My previous 965 black edition ran at 70 under high stress

It's totally normal. Btw AMD's CPU's are hotter than Intel's...
I have FX-6300 too with a Hyper 212 EVO on it to cool it.

With some heavy multitasking I'm running now with solid 45 C temperature.
212 Evo works a charm for my i5, runs idle at 20c

Not very high for an AMD chipset.

I thought he posted the specs when he wasn't doing heavy multitasking.

What do you cool your CPU with? What temps do you usually get under a heavy load?

Don't usually have a heavy load but I get like 50 degrees if I have a lot of things open/3 minecraft games open with Skype, 20 tabs of chrome and gimp. I forgot what my actual cooling model is but it's a corsair radiator. It's the popular one. I forgot the name.

I need to get a SSD lol

Getting some new fans soon, motherboard is a bit too warm imo, temps without running any games or heavy programs.
