Android Error

Connected to an open network, got this error. Does that mean that my information can be hacked through this network?
It means the Wifi has no passcode so it's unencrypted. Plain text transmission of data through the wifi network.

but why there is some wifi with no passcode but i dont get this error
Some wifi's are encrypted without a password I believe.

To you question, yes you can get hacked.

Yes.
I never connected to public network so I'm not familiar with this error.
But from the looks of it I'm guessing that its just a warning and not an error?
It's a warning saying that your taking a risk by getting on this network. So my suggestion to you is don't do anything major (like logging into MPGH) because you never know what the owner of the wifi is doing, just for safety.
Technically you could be subjected to a MITM attack on any WiFi.
Public hotspots are just more prone to it, because nobody can control who's on it in that sense.

They could also sniff and do PCAP logs on you to grab your passwords, switch out all images and do page redirects.
Better put on the tinfoil hat!
