Even what you're saying gets you banned. If you have a hack running in the menu or start while not using steam's offline mode, you will be VAC banned.

Can you just stop talking. It doesn't matter wether steam is running in offline mode or not. And also you won't get banned if a hack is running in the menu, never heard shit like that. I never had problems with my old hack and I can tell you that I never got banned for using it, only when I overextended like fuck.
I have some experience with coding hacks and using them and I can tell that what you said is complete bullshit, at least it's not true for bo3.
No VAC no shit just for starting a hack in the menu.
