This thread is aimed at all you new kiddies who don't bother reading rules and lack common sense.
I've noticed a dramatic spike in scams over the last few weeks since MM services were suspended.
Here are some simple ways to avoid getting scammed:
1. Never go first unless the person is vouched like crap
I don't see any reason why you should trust someone who made their account the same day they claim to be selling something
2. Snoop around
Check their profile and vouches out.
How long have they been here?
Where do they post?
How many vouches do they have?
How much are these vouches worth?
70 vouches of $0.01 sales from 70 1 post people < 1 vouch for a $200+ sale from a long time member
Quality over Quantity
3. Check the Skype when added
You can't have 2 people with the same Skype username
Always verify with the thread to make sure you're not adding an imposter
4. Ask them to verify they are who they say they are
If you ask a legit person to verify themselves, they'll be more than glad to: it's one of the rules.
If they can't even verify themselves then run an IP check and upload proof to the Scammer's grave.
3 and 4 come together: if 1 don't match up, it's probably a scam and imposter
