1st .Download Macro Recorder (Cant Post Links) just google Macro Recorder

2nd . Install Macro Recorder & Enter the serial key
3rd. Go into the server you want to run the Auto Farm (Factions,Survival)
4rd . Stand in a solid Block infront of Your farm ( Sugar Cane,Cactus)
5th . Go to macro recorder and start recording
6th . Once you done farming and mining all the Sugar Cane or Cactus
Stand in the same block that you was in the begin
and run the Macro

There we go <3 Enjoy being AFK and earning !

To do this wouldn't you need mouse movements, with macro recorder it doesn't work very well for me atleast, if you could line it up so you would just press A and D and click to smash it, it would work, but it can be inconsistent.
