Item Blacklisted by Amazon?

Still in the process of getting a refund for a Laptop I had someone do services on. After contacting amazon again to ask when my refund was going to come through, they said they are going to add the item to a black list and are now processing the refund. Once I get my money back, am I able to still use the laptop? Just want to know if this actually will prevent me from using the laptop or if it's just some false scare tactics by Amazon.

Yes, you will be able to use the laptop. Unless they want you to send it back on their expenses, but they will most likely let you have it and get a refund. So you're good
