gamebooster does fuck all to my ping, it always stays around 100, but it puts my fps up to about 60 in a 8v8 
That's because you might have used alt+esc to check your msn chats or something else. Mine does that. It has nothing to do with ping.
Do what ballotra posted. I don't really know the link, though..

Seriously all most everyone that has posted in here probably doesn't know the difference between ping and fps.
The only way to get a lower ping is to move closer to the host and having a good ISP doesn't hurt.
Now for gods sake, Don't reply to a post if you don't have any knowledge of what is being discussed.

droped my ping by 15-20What Gamebooster does is close unnecessary programs thus making you use less RAM (Random Access Memory) and thus improving the FPS.
Closing unnecessary programs doesn't effect your connection at all (Unless of course it closes something that you were using to download something else)
all i know is that i got lower ping with a gamebooster
