❓ FOV Based Aimbot (C++)
Hello MPGH! I have a very basic question I'd like to ask and as I've come to learn from past experiences, this community never seems to fail me. So let's get right into the business. I'm working on an aimbot which will be FOV based in it's final stage. Specifically, if a certain key is held, and an enemy is within a certain FOV (Ex: 2.8), you aim at their head. So fair I've managed to make an aimbot which utilizes a bezier curve for more legit gameplay, but it only aims if your crosshair goes over the enemy while you hold the aim key. From what I understand, the quickest way to do this would be to modify the code where if the crosshair is within a certain distance of the enemy, it aims, and I'd assume you'd do that by doing something like this:

Code:
int EnemyTeam = Mem.Read<int>(EnemyInCH + teamOffset);
int LocalTeam = Mem.Read<int>(localP + teamOffset);
int AimFOV = 2.8;
bool EnemyInFOV = Mem.Read<bool>(clientdll + entityBase + ((CrosshairID - AimFOV) *EntLoopDist));

if (LocalTeam != EnemyTeam && EnemyHealth > 0 && EnemyInFOV) {
		Aim();
	}
But when I use this in my code, the aimbot doesn't seem to work. I'm certain all offsets are correct, but the FOV offset may not be the correct offset that I should be using, because it works for my FOV changer in game, but it doesn't work for my aimbot. I may just be stupid and this could be really simple, but I could also be struggling because of something far more complicated that what I've been guessing.

inb4 someone complains because I didn't provide enough detail.

- By "the aimbot doesn't seem to work" I mean it doesn't work at all.
- This is in C++ if you couldn't read the title properly <3
- My other features are completely functional and seem to work flawlessly (Triggerbot, GlowESP, FOV Changer, etc...)
/Moved to the correct section.
How would subtracting your crosshair ID by the fov do anything?
Code:
bool EnemyInFOV = Mem.Read<bool>(clientdll + entityBase + ((CrosshairID - AimFOV) *EntLoopDist));
Please try to understand what you're doing there.

He is trying to get someone to help him pasting stuff together he doesn't understand.
He has no idea what the Read function even does, probably doesn't even know what an instance of a class is or what templated functions are, which he is using.
If he would know that the Read function takes an address as a parameter and returns the data located at that address he wouldn't throw in an int of 2 into a memory address.

He is declaring an int as 2.8, which is a double if not used with the literal .f. It will be instantly converted to 2 since integers can only store natural numbers ( 1, 2, 3, 4, not 1.2 ).

One he knows what he is trying to do we can help him.
Leaving WasserEsser's post undeleted since it's somewhat helpful unlike some others'.
