HelpReading test from chat...

I have an idea and I think it would be cool to do as some practice. I was just wondering if it would be possible to read that has been put into the chat history and somehow export that into a file. Now, I am also wondering if it was possible to get a vac from reading memory because I'm still sort of new to this type of stuff.

The basic concept would be if you were on a server you did "!doStatement" and it executed, however I would like my program to run in the background take that and do the action. Just wondering if it would work, if not oh well.

Reading memory can trigger a VAC ban if valve doesn't want your program to read memory.
If you want to create a legit program which you want to publish, the best would be to email valve and ask them.

And yes, you can read text from the chat.
