Do you happen to know what method he used? What was the item you refunded? What date did he contact support? Has the refund already hit your account?

How can one tell if it's done via chat vs call ?
He fucked up lol. They will next tell you to file a police report as the carrier will confirm the package arrived in good condition
1. If you did it right they're investigation will lead to nothing
2. they will actualy check and not give you refund

He used chat, must have said that package didn't arrive, he contacted them like Friday 13th ? Nope refund has not been processed yet.
The package wasn't signed so I have hope.

All those amazon refunders using the 'I didnt receive..' method should be permanently banned for scamming.
